Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Dano are on their prime here oh my fucking god. It's about the best actings i have ever seen.
Unbelievable development, yet simple plot. Unbelievable immersion in characters minds. The way you grow some respect and admiration on how hardworking is Daniel, especially on the opening scene (probably one of the bests), but also grow hate on how disgusting and fucking greedy he is.

Even tho it's very cliché, a literal copy of Last of Us most of the time, it's a pretty okay characteristic, after you accept it.

Butcher's Crossing 2022
Absolutely boring and tedious. Everyone's boring, everything's boring. The dialogues are terrible.
I like the message of how absurd and harmful was the butcher's market in the beggining of American capitalism, but everything else is very badly delivered and i couldn't feel a thing about the characters, their emotions, motivations and psychological processes. Really, wtf is this "protagonist".
