As Michael Elliott said in his review this movie could've focused more on the victims and the investigative reporting however as i'm old enough to remember the story it really was focused on Joe Paterno which kinda tells you a lot about the priorities of the media and public fascination. First of all the first two episodes gave me a bit of a primitive Alien/Aliens vibe to it what with the claustrophobia and impending doom of the sensorites. The subversion of the "evil alien" trope was a well thought out idea and I like that we get to learn about their highly structured and orderly society that's based too entirely on trust.

    Honestly this could've…
