  This was it. This was the last honest gasp of creativity in Pixar before the Disney-fication of their brand. You can say what you want about Toy Story 3, Brave, Luca, Turning Red or either of the Inside Out movies - but this was the last film where they really gave it their all in trying to tackle an original story with mature themes and really not giving a fuck what people thought - that being said, I've never seen…

  Jack Quaid's run as accurate incel "nice guys" is always incredible typecasting but I do like that he gets to show off some of his physical comedy in this - makes me excited for Novocaine.

  What starts out as a relatively simple high concept premise doesn't waste time getting to the point and while predictable at almost every gory turn, a fantastic finale to bring the message home is appreciated.

  One whole star goes to Matt McCarthy showing up and another star for Sophie Thatcher imitating how Boston Dynamics robots walk which is a little touch I loved.
