Visually impeccable (naturally—it’s Kubrick), but it kept knocking me out like a sedative. That might explain why I didn’t enjoy it, but even when I was awake, I found most of what I saw dull and not funny. If this is one of your top four on Letterboxd, you have my condolences.

I'm biased, but Troye was pretty great. I hope this and The Idol get him some more roles, preferably a lead like in this. They were obviously trying (with Caleb) for a character similar to Juno (in Juno - it's from the same producers), and it maybe doesn't always feel quite as effortless in this, but it's mostly effective.
