I love this and I hate this.
Jacob Elordi is so perfect at playing sinister, manipulative men, it almost didn't matter that I could only understand him half the time.
Hate to see a girl in this predicament, love to watch her leave it.
A little repetitive for me but tbh nails the way abuse can be so easily rationalized away.

If you've ever been in a relationship like this (or seen someone close to you go through it) this movie makes such precise sense. Hard to watch for that reason. An accurate portrayal of psychological abuse.
It's a bit slow and packed with anxiety that builds to little but intentionally so.
The red flags keep getting bigger and brighter.
Kind of nice to know you're not alone but doesn't make the reality of this any less terrible.
