  TRIGGER WARNING: RAPE SCENE 

  Why festivals don’t include any warnings for films with graphic scenes is so confusing to me.   Getting through this film was a real struggle. I finally finished it after 3 days while in the depths of contraception-induced despair. The totalising hegemony of white western male experience as ~ the experience of life on Earth ~ never fails to alienate me.
