An uneven musical with moments of real magic, but also just felt kind of weird at times. It's probably just because of my perception of the Wizard of Oz. There were times where I really dug it, and other times I didn't. It's also too long and because this is only part of the story, the movie feels incomplete and unsatisfying. Truth be told, this is a hard movie to review and have a good, informed opinion on until Part…

Nights like tonight make me never want to go to a Regal mystery Monday night in the case that it ends up being like the one I saw tonight. A movie I never even heard of before tonight called Boy Kills World and it's absolutely atrocious. LOL. There are some good actors in it but wow, this sucked. The writing and directing is beyond bad. Cheesy, dopey fun. Miss the old car, but I thought the new one, the 4000 not the vintage one in the beginning, was kind of cool. A pre X-Files Mitch Pileggi plays the main bad guy and I think he's a good bad guy. This tv movie (which I think was suppose to set up a possible series return) aired not long after Wes Craven's Shocker came out, so he had experience playing the heavy.

This was . . . fine. It's mildly funny and enjoyable most of the time. I don't like how it sometimes treats it's characters like jokes and there's one character that dies that kinda pissed me off. Not because he dies but because it happens so quick and the character never gets his due and it just feels like he's been disrespected.

Say what you will about the first Suicide Squad but I never got that from that movie. I'm not saying it's better than this. Over all, this is definitely better. But it definitely feels a bit inconsequential and over all isn't especially memorable.
