This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Nicholas Angel telling Nighy, Coogan, and Freeman wait until the rest of the department hears about this, only to see everyone’s prepared a goodbye party is one of my favorite comic cuts ever.
This is a very positive and heartwarming story of a teacher trying to help just one student not fall behind his school’s curriculum, because other teachers struggled comprehending that not all students learn the same way. Strangely enough, I wanted to be more moved at the end, but the movie flowed by really quickly for being over 2.5 hours, so I wouldn’t mind seeing it again.
BEST PICTURE WINNERS COUNTDOWN: THE FINISH LINE
This came out the same year as Sunset Blvd. and is also as sharp in its commentary, and vicious in its dialogues between the characters. From one Joseph to another, you make me proud, Mr. Mankiewicz. Maybe a tad long, but those last 15 minutes are perfection.
AND WITH THAT, I have now seen all the Best Picture Oscar winners!!
Call it white guilt, or simply I got my eyes fixed so I can finally get what this movie is saying. Everybody needs to do the right thing, or we all will self-destruct with hate.
