Love this movie I think it’s silly and cute and angsty and the plot encompasses Pennsylvanians well (director is from bucks!) so classic having this punk kid being from a rich family and him falling for the neurodivergent weirdo girl idk jus classic pairing and found it cute despite the repetitive use of the r word😅
Getting to meet Kyle and Emily at the special screening at film center was rly fun and cute and I felt like a fan girl again <3
Terribly strange indeed…. I hate when they set up a good plot and ruin it with scenes that are too long and an actress who makes the her character so goddam unlikable like wtf I guess idc that much anyways bc Kyle gallner🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I watched this like two or so weeks ago but rewatching it solidified that this film does not deserve 5 stars lol like it’s giving CapCut montage in some scenes. Beautiful cinematography from the award stealing LaLaLand guy, proving the white male gaze extends to f@ggøtry, movies made on film aren’t always a classic and lil European boys love to be type cast as the freak and play the fuck out of their role regardless of how lazy the plot is.
