holy smokes, where do i begin
this film was reminiscent of the muppets (2011) but with less corporate schilling, and it evoked a sense of nostalgia in me for a group of fictional bears that i didn’t even know existed up until this point
now i’m no country music expert, but – besides the fiddle and alcohol issues – the country bears seemed more beatles- and fleetwood mac- inspired than anything
the animatronics were INCREDIBLE!!! the physicality and mouth-movements were on…
i was lucky enough to catch this in the cinema for the 30th anniversary, and it did not disappoint
i didn’t think i was going to like a cop vs gang leader movie, but capone and de niro’s performances were electric. i also enjoyed seeing how the other people in their lives were affected by their ego
this was very reminiscent of the dark knight - some of the shootouts lasted so long that they became comical, but every blue night scene was as captivating as the last
i’ve come to realise that i have a bit of a crush on val kilmer
i would be so fucking pissed if my teacher decided to fail me because i didn’t want to take part in his weird DnD campaign / apocalyptic sex fantasy
i refuse to believe any of this was filmed in london
roman and han are the best characters in this franchise
