  It takes guts to say “I’ll never find that energy again and I shouldn’t try to” about your own film and vision.

  Awesome to see young filmmakers set out to create a classic and monumental film they way they had felt was the right way to do it. Living in the housing projects while filming a controversial topic could have been a recipe for disaster but it was the most important ingredient that made La Haine a near perfect film in my opinion.
