A Different Man 2024
Streaming on Max. Unlike the bombastic The Substance, this is a more cerebral, thoughtful take on appearance vs. character. My favorite line for this is just tossed away by Stan's character near the end: fear is a reaction, courage is a decision. Sebastian Stan was fantastic in this and I look forward to seeing him in The Apprentice. Adam Pearson is also wonderful. Fuck what people think, live out loud.
