A wonderfully stylized and humorous satire that explores religious sexual repression and toxic masculinity. Simultaneously a hilarious and over the top parody, and a tragic story of the toxic misgivings that led to the gung ho fascism of Imperial Japan in WW2. Truly a brilliant film and a personal favorite.

The Warped Ones 1960
A film with visual presentation and performances as chaotic and unhinged as it's energetic jazz score. Simultaneously as uncomfortable and disturbing as it is entertaining. This film really captures something really unique and genuine despite being so excessive and over the top in it's portrayal of it.

Living Space 2018
This is legitimately one of the worst goddamn movies I have ever seen. Even for this style of low budget film it's on a whole other level of bad. Not even in a fun way. Appallingly nonsensical and devoid of logic. The way the plot flows is annoying and unsatisfying and has no meaningful denouement of any kind.

This movie is just so bad, and not even in a remotely entertaining kind of way, I'm amazed I made it through it. Trite, predictable and just downright boring, rarely do I feel a movie has legitimately "wasted my time" but this one definitely did. I've seen awful doll focused horror movies but this is easily the worst and most generic one I've seen yet.
