  Haha, I sat in the front row and Skarsgaard looked like an absolute beast.

  
  Taylor Joy and Defoe play their parts to perfection, propping up Skarsgaards literally and figuratively immense performance. 

  If you dig norse or icelandic mythology/religion this is the movie for you. If you want to see moments of fury and gore this is the movie for you too.

  The cinematography and art direction back the story brilliantly.

  Slow. Patient. Real.

  Long takes, wide shots and slow dialogue might make you think that the film is trying to create distance between you and the relationship of the two protagonists, but it does the opposite. Very real emotions and scenarios, make you connect to the story and characters, and beautiful shot selection keeps you focused while little is happening.

  Very well executed filmmaking.
