  What the heck did I just watch??? How was this 1.5h movie more like 2.5h?? I genuinely have nothing to say besides comment on how they made a couch for Gary Oldman to sit inside.

  Atlantis: The Lost Empire 2001

  BRILLIANT. I have not watched this since VHS days so it was pretty much fresh eyes. The character work and dialogue just HITS. And the ANIMATION TOO!

  This movie was loving in the depths of my subconscious since I was a kid and I'm happy to have it refreshed.

  Straight to streaming is the new straight to DVD.

  With streaming you get movies like this. If the quality was this low for a theatre-only release 10 years ago, we wouldn't have this type today. At least this film is self-aware enough to be only 80 minutes.

  I may not have "felt the soul" of this movie due to not being the target audience in any major aspect, but that was fun.

  The set design was refreshing, colourful, and unique. It would be a BLAST showing up to that pink set and being able to use the slide. I want a slide.

  Since Ken wasn't happy in Barbieland and brought generic male-dude stuff back home, I thought Barbie would bring more Barbie glam to the real world…
