Disgusting, brutal, horrific and somehow beautiful - a fascinating look at grief. I don’t know that I can really recommend this to anyone ever, but I found myself unable to look away even from the most visceral parts. This is the first time in a long time I’ve screamed out in agony at what was going on on the screen.

1. The Bride of Frankenstein
I am literally blown away by how much I loved this movie. The visuals were stunning, the acting was phenomenal, and the story was absolutely gut wrenching. Definitely a new favorite for me.

Frankenstein 1931
Hooptober 4.0 - A film directed by Whale
Back in my senior year of high school we were given the option to read and watch Dracula or Frankenstein. The class had majority vote given to Dracula. While I never enjoyed the book, I did love the Dracula movie.
Now that I finally got around to watching Frankenstein, I'm incredibly jealous of the classes that got the Frankenstein pick. The pacing of this movie is incredible and Boris Karloff as the monster was phenomenal. It's crazy to think of the talent that goes into portraying such a terrifying monster.
