"The light still shines, even though the star is gone."
For a Sonic movie for kids I'm surprised how good this was. It not only manages to be a really mature story about grief and not to turn the inevitable anger of the loss of a beloved one into hatred and yes into sympathy and appreciation of life, but also a really fun action family movie with great visual effects, solid humor and some excellent performances (This might be in my top 3 of favorite Jim Carry performances). I'd rather have 10 more of these over a sequel to illumination's shitty Mario movie.
