This could’ve been an amazing, heartwarming family film.
Unfortunately, it looks so clean and artificial that it completely strips away the magic. The robots look incredibly fake, just a different design or, dare I say, a more practical approach would’ve helped a lot.

Such a blast of energy! A very fun film that, for its short runtime, does a lot. They explained that part very well, and it came across as believable. I had a good time and was shocked by how brutal and bloody this film was.
I didn’t understand why it had a Christmas setting or why they made it such a small-scale story and characters while trying to be a big-scale film. That does hurt the film, even though Novocaine can’t feel pain.

And I loved how they used the first one and build on that story. Now that film has still a use. The settings were great, and production design was just perfect. The story was constructed very well and also made sense.
