  Good old-fashioned Will Ferrell theatrics. I felt like I was 13 giggling at over the top slapstick humor in back of the theater again. Overall, an easy movie to watch if you turn your brain off and don’t overthink it. Low brow and loving it.

  This was perfect for a nostalgic lesbian like me. However, a friend pointed out that she didn’t enjoy that Teo’s character didn’t get more development and it ends up feeling like othering. So, I definitely can reckon with the gaps in cultural thoughtfulness while enjoying the slow burn of what if.
