questionable (at best) handling of the theme “white man saving the native people from destruction caused by - u guessed it - white people”
like… isn’t there a better way to tell the good bits of this story? I love the parts that describe the Navi peoples relationship to the earth, but that’s kinda it for me

Koyaanisqatsi 1982
Really interesting compositions, use of long lens, colors, moments of observation of people and landscape. The score, at times, took me out of the film, but nothing incredibly off putting.
