Lately, I’ve come across a few films that excel at telling stories from a child's perspective.
The way this one deals with death, memories, and grief feels intimate, poignant but safe. A warm hug and a tender portrayal of the universal yearning for honest, human connection.
I really appreciate its stripped down approach - the locations and colors (those blue and orange shades that might as well be Céline's trademarks) make for a very pleasant visual experience.
