Really enjoyed most of this. It definitely doesn’t have any substance…plenty of style, and I’m a sucker for that sort of thing, not to mention my general body horror obsession. This felt like a mix up of lots of different movies with Society, Neon Demon, The Fly and various other vibes. Great to see Demi Moore in something like this too. It was a bit dumb in parts and the last 20 mins were off the rails but I justify…

Creepy Irish whodunnit wrapped in a horror. I liked Caveat by the Director and there’s a nice nod to that in this movie. Built some great tension and atmosphere throughout, particularly through a fantastic score and aside from a couple of little slips in narrative and execution it was really solid. Looking forward to whatever he does next.

Excellent little indie flick, very well made, so much more than a post-Zombie apoc movie. Absolutely brilliant soundtrack too.

A long while since I watched this. An intense watch in a quiet contemplative way. Amazing static cinematography, very Fassbinder-esque. I can’t agree with it being the best film ever made, which is an assertion I see frequently. It’s great, it’s unique, well performed, Akerman was trail-blazing for creative women and feminism, but it just isn’t the best film ever made.
