I fully understand why so many people enjoyed this movie and genuinely loved it, and yet, I cannot lie to anyone and say that I myself liked any part of Ex machina :(
The plot was quite thrilling, the ending was instant woahhh!, and after reading some articles and several reviews, I came to understanding of the meaning (the AI part, as it turns out, is still relevant in our time!), but still, it's probably not something a person like me is able to truly enjoy, sorry
As I said it in my previous review, this movie would be better as something slightly longer, with characters backstories/at least some context of what the hell is happening(!), because the universe itself is really really fascinating, but without any information about it, everything is so confusing and weird π Especially when they start talking about these objects that are being plucked from the ground, as if we already somehow supposed to know what those things are

This film is simply so fantastic, so essental and deeply touching. This incredible cloud-gray cinematography seems to create not just a mood with which, but also shows a view of Llewyn's life, his existence, as so I believe
"Inside Llewyn Davis" might be about mourning, that forced Llewyn to do everything alone - to present solo acts, to have no idea where to put himself now that he had no one; this movie also might be about the authenticity ofβ¦
