  The Don continues to blur the line between genius and madness. 

  In his filmed intro for the short’s premiere alongside the re-release of It’s Such A Beautiful Day, Hertzfeldt rightfully describes ME as “exhausting.” It’s gorgeous, frenzied, and my heart is telling me “five stars” even though I need another viewing (or five) to wrap my head around it.

  It’s good! Eggers teleporting Nosferatu to the present is something I would trust only him to pull off. A bit too faithful to the source, maybe, but the unique challenges of adapting such a played-out story are right up his alley.

  I bought the Gorilla Interrupted combo deal primarily to get to this documentary. It's heartwarming to see their early 2000s passion/hatred project come to life.

  I'm amazed seeing people find and pursue their passions vigorously, through the highs and (extremely low) lows.
