What a fun little film! I loved how many knowing nods there were to Mission: Impossible but, unlike those films, it wasn’t a waste of two hours of my life.
Richard Roundtree was a great surprise as a sidekick to Thelma.

La Chimera 2023
I once climbed down into an Etruscan grave in the Tuscan countryside and it scared the bejasus out of me, especially the big white spiders that had never seen daylight.
I really enjoyed this quirky little film gif itd playfulness — switching aspect ratios, looking like vintage film stock, and strange changes of ‘cranking’ like old silent movies.
The ending was completely predictable but that did not spoil my enjoyment of the film. Josh O’Connor was fantastic through the whole film.

My wife chose this film and I’ve had the sweet pleasure of reminding her about that for years.
It may be a classic but if I were in a cinema watching this I would chew off my own leg to get out of there.
