Perfectly amusing and entertaining at the time, but also instantly forgettable.
I was so in the mood for this. Awkwafina and Morris were the icing on the cake for me, though Tony Leung and Michelle Yeoh were pretty good too.
Along with Grave of the Fireflies, I think this has to be the most beautiful animated film I've seen. I was entranced and stunned by the sheer style of it the whole way through. The story is based around the creation of the Book of Kells - an illuminated Gospel produced around 800 AD, but weaves in elements of Celtic mythology. This is a wonderful film: funny at times, very moving at others, and if you have any soul at all it will have you punching the air yelling, "Yeah! You tell those men how it is!".
