  I'm not really sure why the ships look like that but who cares because this movie kicks ass. I liked this movie even before a had a crush on a linguistics girl. This is another one that has such a huge payoff and a satisfying ending after a mix of being eerie and intriguing. One of my buddies liked this movie so much he got a tattoo of the heptapod language.
