Rewatched this with my family after getting it on digital. It really just hits me right in the heart each time I watch it, whether that be in its modern movie form or theatrically. Cynthia Erivo adds a quality of innocence to Elphaba though that I think enhances the character. Ariana Grande truly became Glinda, I was scared that due to how prominent she is, that I would be able to see Glinda in her, but she demolished this fear almost immediately. I loved the inclusion of small scenes that showed off the dynamic of Glinda and Elphaba’s relationship. Pretty fire film in my opinions.

The Greatest Showman 2017
I’ve loved this movie for such a long time, and after rewatching it the day before Christmas, I decided to review it on here.
This film is truly amazing in it’s simple message of ‘Be yourself; Don’t let them change you,” it does this by showing us a perspective of the othered people within society, how they find community, and how that community isn’t really a place, but the people you find within it. Especially within the performing arts.
