Action-packed, adrenaline fueled and explosive, Speed was a surprising experience. I enjoy Keanu Reeves as much as the next guy, and while he was solid here, I find Dennis Hopper to be the star of the show.

I haven't seen a vast amount of action flicks, but to find a character given as much depth as Hopper's character was wonderful. Well written, well shot, and score-wise they hit the nail right on the head. Conceptually this is really intriguing, and…

This would have been substantially worse off without Adam Driver as Kylo Ren. Best character here by a mile. Story was kinda half baked, but the cool moments are so cool when they happen.

Like I said, Kylo Ren carries this installation on his back, and I think I remember we get a lot more of him in Episode 8 so I’m excited to see how that rewatch goes.

The first and only time I watched this film was when it came out. I was not even 5 years old at the time so naturally I retained nothing other than being terrified of the Other Mother. Like most young children I was deathly afraid of the dark. My most vivid memory of seeing this film wasn't even the film itself. I remember sitting in the back seat of the car going home, in the dark, and I was scared…

I do NOT remember this movie being as cool as it is. What we have here is pure entertainment. Two of the biggest slasher icons go at it, and I am seated. The story is decent enough, and the characters can be annoying at times, but it all comes together to give us probably some of, if not my very favorite fight scenes I've seen in movies from recent memory. During that final fight, the guitar filling the background was…
