Casting and cinematography were perfection, but I feel like this movie cut my favorite bits from the book! The Frank/jane drama is some of the juiciest, and it’s almost entirely taken out of the movie. And Emma’s friendship with Jane in the end…I am sad I didn’t get to see it 🥲

Honestly though Sandy and Hugh were great, and lots of great silly scenes if you don’t think about the societal implications and just enjoy at face value. The RV scene alone was worth seeing.
