There is a lot for fun has with this movie's action, and there's a lovely romance budding between Quaid and Midthunder that had me forgetting what this movie was about until it abruptly pumped the gas into action. Unfortunately, this action ends up feeling uneven as it doesn't commit to the Bollywood aesthetics it utilizes and doesn't keep the humour present punctuated. It does keep the gross out factor high, but even the responses to that are audience-guided than portrayed…

The movie has little to say past observations of the geriatric being angry and punitive, and that that keeps those who may have succeeded in the past down. Even that factor isn't reflected in our characters past inversion of their situations, and this fact isn't addressed by the writing.

I was stunned at how quickly the last scene played out. I wasn't swelling with emotion by that point, and there was no time given to build anything up.

I can't even begin to say that this movie was good in many ways, especially if you have seen plenty of mob movies, but it still managed to get me riled up about Al's hit and the meeting leak.

I think everyone involved was confused to some degree as to how many and what kind of movie was being made. Lovely visuals, an intense final act, and quality gore contrasting an over-asking for suspension of disbelief, dropped plot lines, and awkward dialouge writing and delivery. An X-Files episode crossed with Giallo featuring that early 2000s post-Blade edge and a surprising amount of "Lights Out."

Why did the sister park on the cliff? What?!
