Certified hood classic, but I have some dissections to make for that Georgie scene
1. Why did Georgie look for so fucking long in the storm drain before Pennywise appeared. Most of us would've been like "Yeah, it's gone now, time to move on" or at the very most, stare into the storm drain sighing in disbelief. But no, dude was looking into it like he was expecting the boat to magically plop back up - or for a clown…

Dune: Part Two 2024
I'm giving this the leverage of rating this 4 stars but honestly, I'd rate this 3.75 stars nowadays. I think this is an amazing film in a vacuum along with the first, but honestly, it really doesn't do as much for me after reading the book outside of offering a tremendously visceral experience.

The Shining 1997
People are being too black and white. This adaptation isn't contemptibly awful, and I do enjoy watching it to get an insight into King's vision - it's whacky, creative, and has a talented writer behind it. It's cheap, though, and has a real cheap feel to it. Some of the effects and acting is just crap. But personally I wouldn't even really compare this to Kubrick's film.
This goes to show that books don't become obsolete when films and TV shows exist. The book's premise and story are just as absurd as this film, but it works within that medium.

Bee Movie 2007
As Schaff put it "A shitpost disguised as a movie"
I just love it. Forget all your problems, switch off your brain and watch Bee Movie. It's a masterpiece of mediocrity and absurdity. Strikes the perfect balance of self awareness and cluelessness. Is it good? Nahhh... will I watch it again? Duhh, it's f*cking Bee Movie. And the Patrick Warburton guy is just the greatest thing ever.
