The loudest anal scenes you'll likely ever see.  That's what you get with no foreplay and no lube.

Choices were made. I will not rate this, but like the tagline says “there is no movie like Emilia Perez.”

In a time of many reboots and sequels, I respect how unique of a vision this was. Its awkward in a lot of ways, and I don't find it particularlly touching, but I do think it's worth watching.

Great immigrant story, fascinating life, well structured. You have art, cooking, communist revolutions, warhol, basquait, Fran Lebowitz- all
here. There is so much else I learned that could not be included for time and various reasons, but they did great with a cohesive focus. Lots of amazing archival materials as well.

Rare to see this kind of film anymore.  Solid performances all around, but especially from Culkin. All very human: complex, messy, sweet, annoying, frustrating, funny, and touching.
