Thoughts upon watching the first time.
1. Stephen King said this was good, so I watched it because I follow all his suggestions.
2. Does anyone really eat breakfast with their families? Or just bad guys? From now on, you must assume anyone eating breakfast with their family is some kind of killer.
3. Many, many nods to BTK in the storyline. Feels psychologically on the money.
Notes/thoughts/ponderings upon most recent watching:
1. How is Ellen Burstyn MORE attractive now than in the 1970s?
2. The cut-aways after particularly gruesome and/or threatening scenes left me wondering how the characters go OUT of the room. They just magically escaped it, I guess. But it wasn't too distracting.
3. Who designed this corner of the town? So many hills and steep staircases.
4. Soundtrack = one of the most recognizable of all time.
5. I kept thinking: "Linda Blair…
