I wish Christopher Nolan had more opportunities to work on projects that aren't clearly designed as Oscar bait.
I mean, is this a good movie? Sure. It ticks off enough boxes. Some visual metaphors are quite brilliant. There's nothing technically wrong with the cinematography or any other visual aspect of the film that I found insufficient, and even the pacing was on point despite being a 3 hr long movie.
