  I don't usually review films on here, but I have thoughts, as a trans person, about the response to this film from (some) trans people.

  I think there can be an argument made with a legitimate concern, that a documentary about a trans woman and her famous best friend, features too much of the perspective of said famous best friend.

  But... that's kind of the point. This is not a film /for/ trans people. And that's important.
