  Ok so after watching this very bad film I read some other reviews on here and discovered the version I saw - Forever Christmas - is the sanitised version of a film called Mr 365, where there are sex scenes, nudity etc. Bahaha! I'm laughing so hard, it made watching an almost unwatchable film worthwhile!
  It now makes sense why the film was so lacking in anything even remotely interesting. They edited it all out!

  This is a beautiful film. The performances are superb... Jimmy Stewart is as fab as always, Margaret Sullavan is mesmerising and Walter Pidgeon completes the trio perfectly. The plot takes a totally surprising turn that saw me bawling at the finale.

  "Some people without brains do an awful lot of talking".
  Yep.

  Whenever I re-watch this diamond of a film I'm transported back to any one of numerous Christmas Eves as a kid, being mesmerised by the glitter, technicolour and pure magic of Oz, whilst my mum belted out every last song.

  Despite not one mention, this film is the absolute epitome of Christmas. When I'm Queen of the World there will be mandatory screenings every Christmas, everywhere, forever.
