  Finally got round to seeing this one, sadly it just didn’t resonate with me at all.  The aesthetic was great and I can see why it is as acclaimed as it is but I just didn’t feel it personally.

  Always loved Behind Enemy Lines and this is easily a modern take on that film / genre.  Really solid action film with some great cinematography.

  “If it’s not controversial, it’s not interesting” - Cairo Sweet.

  I have been really looking forward to seeing this one since the trailer dropped last year.  Sadly it was a long way from what I hoped it would be.  While I don’t think this film deserves the vitriol that it seems to be getting I do completely get the criticism of the writing and dialogue which are incredibly clunky.

  Freeman and Ortega do the best they can with the material…
