The body horror was ridiculous enough for me to be grossed out but not tune out. Love your body, you dumb dumbs. Either that or grow a tiddy in places you didn't think a tiddy could grow.
I love a movie that can get a reaction out of me and this film did it!
Its actually pretty visually decent for the time it came out in. I was pleasantly surprised.
That said, Brendan Fraser TILL THE DAY I DIE! This movie is one of those films where white people take other people's stories and culture and make it about themselves which is kinda tired for me but, hey, this came out in 1999 so womp womp.
But it was a cool film, it had romance, adventure, action and even little touches of horror. It was worth my two hours.

I dunno if I was just having one of those days and couldn't focus or if the movie just wasn't super interesting on its own but I found myself multitasking for most if not the entire runtime. That said, it was a decent watch and the visuals were pretty cool.
I do wish I paid more attention or maybe I wish the movie got as creepy as it did a bit earlier but I think I'll rewatch this down the line.
