World of Tomorrow 2015
“do not lose time on daily trivialities. do not dwell on petty detail. for all of these things melt away and drift apart within the obscure traffic of time. live well and live broadly. you are alive and living now. now is the envy of all of the dead.”
alright then

Game of Thrones - Conquest & Rebellion: An Animated History of the Seven Kingdoms 2017
if i could just have george r r martin’s mind …
im on season 6 of game of thrones currently (it’s amazing), and i keep asking myself questions about the time of the targaryens and how the seven kingdoms actually came to be. i thought this was a great little animated film explaining it to me before i start reading the books. i love the show, it might be one of my favorite shows now, and my god I LOVE THE LORE.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes 2014
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
dawn of the planet of the apes is a great film. from the writing to the cinematography.. everything was exceptional. caesar’s arc only just keeps getting interesting and its certainly been a long time since ive had the craving of wanting to see the next chapter right after watching a film.
caesar being a family man certainly is inspiring and the relationship he has with the humans absolutely warms my heart. seeing him revisit his old house and watching the tape…

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2004
if there’s a film that can make you feel pain, but also make you feel some sort of relief, it’s this one. the way this film combined love/romance and science fiction was so fun for me given that i am a big fan of both genres. jim carrey gave an amazing performance as joel (if not his best) and kate winslet was a joy to watch. i loved clementine’s personality.
from a personal standpoint, it also made me feel grateful…
