The Brutalist 2024
Mr brutalist is quite the character, I found myself wanting to dislike him bc of his.... carnal desires but I end up feeling sorry for him for all the beating down and shit hes had to put up with. Also I fucking hate the ending of this like you're really gonna put the most climactic scene where you pray there will be some consequences for anyone but then it just fucking ends without resolving....as I type this out I'm thinking about it more and it fits in a lot with the rotten American idea....hmmmmm

The Substance 2024
I'm conflicted on how to rate this because I was uncomfortable for like the entire duration of the movie, and like that's so difficult because I've got a stomach of steel. This was not enjoyable to watch, but that was definitely the point. It was the slowest motion train wreck ever. But viewing it like a piece of art or experience, the shots, the sound design, the music (challengers ahh sound track), the themes, it was so well made.
