What a lovely film. Everything had such a warm and intimate feel to it, in all the best ways.
The cinematography had these wonderful moments that really captured emotions whilst playing with light and colour. That, paired with the impeccable costume and set design, helped create a world that felt very real and more natural than most films. The music and sound design fit perfectly in creating these moments that just allowed me to feel, rather than analyse the scene. …

Man, I really wanted to like this film. Unfortunately the character development, rushed plot and bad acting really took me out of it.
My biggest problem with the film was Heather Langenkamp, who plays the protagonist and final girl, Nancy. I feel she was grossly miscast as the lead of the film; had she been a secondary character I don’t think I would have minded her acting as much. I understand that the film was made in the 80s, and…
