  My friend and I randomly picked this film because of our common interest in coming of age films. We both agreed that this was a very idealistic film where parents were convincing their child to accept their sexuality haha, I liked that this film used the song ‘Smalltown Boy’ - it was predictable, it was heartwarming, some twists were weird. I loved his aunty! 💖

  I watched this at an event where people came together to watch two films. I was excited to listen to the director's thoughts but it put me off when I realised that he's not a part of the queer community and his thoughts weren't as interesting as I thought they would be. I loved when a woman in the audience pointed out the moving emojis in Santosh’ car, and how he believed in love because taxi or auto drivers’ personalities are visible on their dashboard or inside the vehicle (assuming he drives the car for a living)
