  idk man. The directing is gorgeous, camera work is fantastic, and the first 10 minutes really captured and locked me in. Brody and Pearce are fantastic, soundtrack is haunting.

  I think this movie has really grand ideas and attempts to explore a lot of themes. Some it does really well. Others, it falters. The epilogue ties the relationship of art to capitalism and how art seemingly gets retconned via the artist's trauma very well. Those through-lines are there and are…
