  watching this for the first time is an experience i wish i could relive. there is something so beautiful about the lack of plot, of conflict, of anything at all except a conversation between a struggling teen & her sponsor on xmas eve in a diner. so many lines so expertly delivered by coleman domingo that will stick with me forever. that convo about why her dad died, or abt companies supporting protests are so painfully self aware. sam levinson you sick fuck i can’t stand you but this. this is a masterpiece.

  loved how it never took itself too seriously. i would do anything for sza or keke they could give me a gun & tell me to kill my whole family & id do it just to have a chance w either on them oml these women fiiiiiine

  i really thought they were gonna make it to hollywood 😭 the exposition was a bit of a disaster but the three queens are so stunning & well played i didn’t even realize they were played by cishet men. the script & the costuming were defintely the shining stars, & the line where carol ann tells vida that she’s not a man or a woman but an angel brought tears to me & all the eyes of the trans ppl i watched this movie w. genuinely so joyful & refreshing compared to the hatred & bigotry going on right now in our country
