  always incredible watching early film and seeing techniques developed real-time if i were a film buff circa 1913 i would’ve been GEEKED. still lots of tricks to learn from this—sense of tension holds up pretty decently, imo! classic story shot pretty imaginatively. really excited to go through the rest (& then les vampires, and then judex, and then…)

  as usual with atlee films it’s a strange and ugly collage of 9000 movies that came before it. + beginning with robin hood style terrorism being the only way to bring about systemic change and ending with a monologue on how Voting Matters ❤️ is like the funniest thing anyone could’ve done

  but deepika padukone + nayanthara will always be famous. so +1 star
