Dangerous Beauty 1998
I saw a youtube about how Venice was built recently & when they show the first stone bridge, I thought of this movie.
Because they both about sex work, I'm comparing to Anora. The Dangerous Beauty story seems unrealistic yet this actually happened whereas Anora's plot feels real yet is unlikely to have ever occurred.
That said, the DB director brings sort of a hallmark/pixar flair that makes it into a heroic kid's movie about prostitution. I can't say it's good but i have fond memories of it anyway.
