A really lovely experience. Its languid pace isn’t for everyone but it works well for this story. It’s easy to be seduced into becoming a voyeur into Miriam’s world, and those beautiful, damaged souls she encounters every day are funny and sad to watch.

Oh my god.  What the hell is this shit?
I’m a long-time Trekkie and this was painful to watch.  Painful.  Actually, it was also highly boring.  This thing made my wife fall asleep, and Trek—not even the last few seasons of Discovery—does not make her fall asleep.  I forced myself to stay awake cos I had to know if there was anything redeemable about this thing.  I suppose the special effects would be it.  But oh god, the writing and…

An uncomfortable movie about loneliness that feels a little aimless but that’s actually okay, cos the two leads have terrific chemistry and I really enjoyed scenes of just the two of them.
It really does the haunting genre in a totally new way that appeals to me a lot.  I wish the characters had had a more interesting arc—or, some might argue, an arc at all.  Clay seems the exact same person throughout, but Whit has moments of realization and…
