Here, tells a story about a house that has sheltered a few families in different timelines. But the main focus is on the Young family. That's the only family that we see staying in the house for two generations. And that's where the movie dips a little. The screenplay for the first 45 minutes was all over the place. Showing us all the other families when their stories are not so interesting. If they had focused only on the Young…

    Punisher: War Zone

    ★★

Punisher: War Zone, is a R-rated Marvel movie which tries to look and feel like Batman Begins. Even the sound design sounds similar. I'm not so familiar with The Punisher's comic (more of a DC fan) but everything that happened at the beginning of the movie just reminds me of some of Batman's and Joker's storyline. The movie delivers good action sequences, and that's about it. The dialogue, direction, editing, and even the acting are so bad. And why do the brothers have different accents? This movie is a big mess!

The Abyss was a rescue mission, a disaster movie, an underwater adventure and an alien flick. It has good action set pieces here and there, but I was struggling to understand what this movie was all about. I personally wanted to see more of the aliens who were living underwater. But I have to give credit to the cast and crew who worked on this movie. Everyone gave their best and the movie looks visually stunning.

    Over the Top

    ★★★½

Over The Top, is a classic 80s American movie. It might be Sly's weaker movie, but personally, I think this movie is one of his best. The scenes where Hawk is trying to teach his son some life lessons are heartwarming. I think that's the strongest aspect of the movie. Yes, it's cheesy and cliche at times, but hey, it was the 80s.
