This movie works so well because of its story, direction, VFX, Background score and, not to forget, its characters. Arnold is just oozing with aura in every scene. The Abyss 1989
The Abyss was a rescue mission, a disaster movie, an underwater adventure and an alien flick. It has good action set pieces here and there, but I was struggling to understand what this movie was all about. I personally wanted to see more of the aliens who were living underwater. But I have to give credit to the cast and crew who worked on this movie. Everyone gave their best and the movie looks visually stunning.

Over the Top 1987
Over The Top, is a classic 80s American movie. It might be Sly's weaker movie, but personally, I think this movie is one of his best. The scenes where Hawk is trying to teach his son some life lessons are heartwarming. I think that's the strongest aspect of the movie. Yes, it's cheesy and cliche at times, but hey, it was the 80s.
